My auntie, who is a very versatile artist made this special altered box for me for my birthday. She's not a scrapbooker but I think she did a great job here. Love it!
She does other artistic creations like cross-stitching, miniatures, etc.
Check the link up here to see more of her gorgeous creations.

Mixed media canvas

This is my first mixed media canvas. I played with different textures and there is lots of layering as always.

The title is "Be yourself" represented with the words "believe, love, live... always". The key symbolises that these words are the key for being yourself. And the heart, flowers, butterflies are images that mean these words (all in my opinion, of course! :-D ).

The process I followed here was this one:
I started with a few different patterned papers glued down with gel medium and then I brushed different water colour paints over. After that, I stamped backgrounds stamps (crackle, cross-stiching, script) and put lots of white rub-bons and some black ones.
I used some modelling paste mixed with the paints to give some dimension to some areas of the canvas and also used marker pens (white&black) to help to pop up some edges and contours of the images.
I went back and forward with these different techniques until I achieved the result I wanted.
The title had been stamped previously in a cardstock and glossy accented after glued down to the canvas.
Last touch was to put some "cristaline" stickles here and there.

Any questions, please ask me :-D

--------------------------------

Atc Travelling / Atc Viajar

My ATC's for november at "Divas in Recycling" site. The theme was "Travelling". I used it as an inspiration for travelling within ourselves, looking for our inner destiny/guide. There's lots of layering with stamping, embossing, misting, etc.
I really love Atc's. It's a great crafty way of expressing ourselves.

A perfect gift for christmas / regalo perfecto para Navidad

Following a tutorial from Elena I made this easy and fast project adding a few extra touches. I used a 12x12 double-sided cardstock that I had previously for the covers and green thiner sheets for the inside pages.
I added pockets in the inside front and back covers and embellished with stamps, white embossing powder and some bling.
You can find the tutorial in Elena's YT channel ("pegapapelotijeras"). Though it's in spanish it's very easy to follow, don't need to understand the words to know how to create it. She shows it very well! Here is the link:

I saw these fabric scraps at a craft shop and I thought they would make for a nice banner. My kids wanted to help so at the end it was their project. They decided the shape (I thought triangles but they have another idea...) and the size. We cut the pieces, did a bit of hand stitching and then they stamped (staz-on ink) what images and where they wanted from a whimsical stamp set that I've got. They are very proud of what they've done so we decided to hang it up in their room. Easy and fun project :-D

The back side of the Christmas tag

More distressing, stamping and stickles here.
The pocket is made with a stamped coin envelope (it has the same motif as the background). The envelope is covered with christmas embellishing trim.
The little angel has been alcohol inked and has rock candy stickles on the wings.
Finally the tag has the sentiment written at the back. I think the candy canes add the perfect touch ;-D

A christmas tag

I'm not a huge fan of any themed project but I have some lefties from last years' christmas mini so I decided to play along with them and some new tools I have bought recently.
The base of this tag is thick yellow cardstock. First I did some masking using LSG and Glimmer Mists showing bells and green "flowers" (they were suppose to be snowflakes but I changed my mind).
Next step was to distress the card and stamp the lyrics of "wish you a merry christmas" with staz-on ink.
As it was very strong background, I used white gesso to tone it down.
I recently bought an embossing pen and was willing to try it so I went over the masked shapes and embossed there. I also used this pen onto parts of the image (Graphic45) to give some highlights to the dresses, the star and the candles on the tree. It's very shimmery though it's difficult to see with the picture.
The metal flowers were silver and I embossed them with white (as the title).
A bit of more misting, stickles and some acrylic flowers (like snowflakes) and my tag was done.

Another vintage mini

I made this mini using the "timeless" paper collection from Kaisercarft. As for the construction, I followed the tutorial that Anne has done in a video at her YT Channel "xannero". I didn't make it exactly as she shows but very similar.
I had a lot of fun while making this mini because I really loved the papers and enjoyed working with them. There are tons of tags that are shown in a video uploaded soon at my YT channel .

Thanks for reading!
